Cheap motorbike insurer fires the imagination. And kick-start?s your Wednesday.

Hello cheap motorbike insurers, and welcome to Wednesday the 19 th July. Which can mean only one thing. Its 'Ride to Work' day! If you cheap motorbike insurers join us a few days later, I'm sorry, but you might as well get out of your leathers and go and find the car keys, as you've missed out on the festivities. Which cheap motorbike insurance fans amount to little more than riding your motorbike to work and back really. Its an initiative set-up by the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) in conjunction with some other motorbike organisations who's names fail me, but who's singular aim is to raise awareness in the benefits of putting your car down and picking your cheaply insured motorbike up. Its to maybe remind those of you who've forgot, and inform those who'd never known in the first place, that motorbiking (of the cheaply insured variety) can be a fun, flexible and friendly alternative to the automobile for commuters looking for a change. The three 'F's' if you like. Moreover, the specials day's events and publicity will hopefully go some way to illustrate both the social and environmental advantages of saddling up, and riding to your workplace on a motorbike. Or even a moped or scooter if you're that way inclined.

After rigorous researching, interviewing industry experts and watching people I know on motorbikes, I've arrived at the following conclusions as to why everyone should try motorbiking at least once. And if they fall off, how it's best to pick yourself up and get back on. It'll be worth it, believe me;

  • slices through street congestion like a knife through Lurpak
  • Puts an end to pollution for good.
  • Eats into journey times.
  • Its convenient, and more than that, flexible.
  • It saves you pounds.

You're probably staggered to discover that the motorbiking community attracts members from far and wide. However, if you've ever pulled over at certain public houses, removed your helmet and engaged in conversation as you've selected a Billy Idol record on the jukebox, then you'll already know this. Also, there is a gamut of different machines (motorbikes) available to the debutant as well as the more experienced biker; everything from commuting scooters (handy for bobbing in and out of urban traffic jams) through to custom and sports bikes. (large, powerful things that really annoy car-ists) the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG UK) is one of the supporting organisations I (didn't) mention - had trouble remembering their name - earlier, and they have employee what's known in the business as a Director of Public Affairs. Or, a spokesperson. For today's article he'll be known as Trevor Baird. He says this; "Ride to Work day is the opportunity for all riders to give a nod in recognition that as riders we all face the same issues on two wheels."

What you might not know is that many MP's ride motoribikes too. Bill Wiggin is chair of the all party group which is compiled of roughly 70 members from the Houses of Commons and Lord's. Not sure if he's ever felt the wind in his face or not, but this is his political take on the 'Ride to Work' thing. "Ride to Work Day promotes the diversity of motorcycling and the many benefits associated with riding on a bike or scooter, not least the congestion busting and journey time-reducing potential of motorcycling in congested urban areas." Whatever your views are on the subject, Wednesday is your opportunity to get out there and motorbike. And to saviour the pleasures of a congestion-busting weekday. Whereas any day, week, month or year is the time to secure the cheapest motorbike insurance out there, by giving us a bell here at Bikesite.co.uk. Where competition really is none existent. It's simply our cheap motorbike insurance, or none at all I guess.
